The number of requests for heating and air conditioning assistance steadily increases each year. Due to a lack of programs to meet these needs, CSF was established by the North Texas Chapter of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America to provide services to elderly/disabled, low-income homeowners in North Texas communities.

Our Mission
The mission of the Community Services Foundation (“CSF”) is to improve the living climate conditions of elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners and non-profit community agencies serving people in crisis by providing safe, energy efficient air conditioning and heating equipment.
This mission is accomplished through four separate and distinct services for eligible,
pre-screened recipients:
- Heat the Town
- Beat the Heat
- Habitat for Humanity
- Special Projects are an avenue through which volunteers respond to emergency community needs through non-profit organizations that provide services to people in crisis and rehabilitation programs. For example, in the Fall of 2002, when the refrigeration unit at the Tarrant County Food Bank went down, CSF provided free repairs by a NTACCA contractor. By CSF volunteers’ providing free repair services to non-profit agencies, their precious dollars can be used to provide direct services to people in crisis.
