Habitat for Humanity
Serving North Texas
Habitat for Humanity is an international program started in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. It is their dream to end poverty and provide affordable homes for low-income families.
Our 2004 key event was being the volunteer donor of 22 installed HVAC systems for the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity Pinebrook Blitz Build Project.

- Furnishes and installs new heating and cooling systems
- Participates in planned community build projects
- Enables construction of additional homes through savings from donated heating and air conditioning equipment and volunteer labor.
- Improves the quality of life of people in critical or poor physical health.
- Habitat for Humanity Chapters often purchase HVAC systems from HVAC contractors at retail cost. The Community Services Foundation helps to avoid this expenditure.
- We donate the systems and installation so Habitat can use their donated funds to build other houses.
- We obtain our donations from HVAC manufacturing companies and qualified, licensed installation contractors.
