2nd Annual Texas Hold'em Tournament

CSF Texas Hold’em Tournament Raises More Than $2,500

The Air Conditioning Contractors Community Services Foundation held its 2nd Annual Texas Hold’em Tournament on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Participants were treated to hors d’oeuvres courtesy of Gorman Mechanical and were shown a good time thanks to the hospitality of the Stockman’s Club staff.  The tournament came down to a head-ups match between Michael Mohtasham and Terri Bentley which kept the audience in suspense for more than half an hour before Michael enticed an all-in call from Terri to win the tournament and the $500 cash prize.  Terri didn’t go home emptied handed though, she took home a Stockyards Gift Basket filled with authentic barbeque and hot sauces, free dinners to Riscky’s barbeque, and gift certificates to several stockyard’s vendors.

CSF would like to thank all of the participants and sponsors for making the tournament a success.  In all, the Community Services Foundation was able to raise more than $2,500 which will be used to further the mission of the Foundation to improve the living climate conditions of elderly, disabled, and low-income homeowners by providing safe, energy efficient air conditioning and heating equipment.

Congratulations to the winners!!
